Links, Newsgroups, ICQ…… all about Kafka!#
There are a lot of Kafka resources on the net, but not everything is worth looking at. The most complete and updated collection of links is probably on the page by Detlef Wilske. Moreover, on some public newsservers (e.g. java.CS.Uni-Magdeburg.De ) you can subscribe the only newsgroup devoted to Kafka: humanities.lit.authors.franz-kafka . ICQ is a very useful, totally free resource to bring us in contact. ICQ users find here their ICQ list about Kafka. My ICQ number is 1154936.
Some other links have very interesting resources:
- The Kafka Society of America is exclusively devoted to scholarly exchange in the field of international Kafka studies.
- The Oxford Kafka Research Center , nearby the Kafka manuscripts in the Bodleian Library , aims to advance and co-ordinate research on Kafka, and more generally on German-language and especially German-Jewish literature and culture in the period of Modernism.
- Dutch Franz Kafka Circle : The site of the Kafka Kring, one of the most important Kafka groups in Europe.
- Das Polnische Kafka-Vortal : an interesting Kafka-site with many informations, unfortunately in Polish at a great extent. However, you can find many German pages in it. The webmaster Konrad Kurzacz (also an Author of the Kafka Project) has to be encouraged in this nice contribution.
- Journeys of Franz Kafka : a photographic project by Jan Jindra
- Franz Kafka: Das Schloss : A novel, well drawn site. A promising contribution.
- Institut für Textkritik : The scientific institute for the publication of the HKA.
- Die Kritische Kafka Ausgabe : The site of the KKA, historical challenge of S. Fischer Verlag.
- Franz Kafka in Lübeck : an interesting historical reconstruction.
